Gesha Village Lot 32 | Ethiopia

Delicate flavors of peach, apricot, and melon are supported by honey sweetness

Tasting notes: peach, apricot, melon

Story from the farm: This coffee comes from the far Western reaches of Ethiopia, mere kilometers from the south Sudanese border, in the dense, widely sprouting jungles of the bench Maji zone. It's a place of stunning natural beauty, where from a high-extending plateau, one can take in the expanse of the ancient, sprawling Forest. This breathtaking landscape is the home to Gesha Village Coffee Estate, the 471 hectare coffee farm built six years ago.  Lot 32 is a honey Gesha 1931 varietal grown in the Surma area of Ethiopia.  This competition coffee is part of the rarities line which represents 10% of the total farm production. The aroma of this coffee consists of tea rose, with the profound center of Jasmine. This is one of the most unique honey Geshas we have ever had.
